his is exactly what I wanted because the AC in my car went out and the repair is way out of budget for me.
I wanted something portable to carry in the car when we are out so that it won't be at least a little comfortable riding in the car this summer.
Where I'm at it's hot. Today was 104 F and that's just the beginning of the heat wave. July temps go over 115 F during the day.
This little air cooler is small and lightweight with a carrying handle on the top that folds down.
There's a little button on the side to turn the unit on and 3 speed settings. The next button up is to turn the unit off. There's a plug for the USB cord so you can charge the battery that goes on the top of the unit.
Inside under the filter is a space you can put ice cubes and water. Then the filter itself is washable and goes inside the unit.
The fan itself doesn't make a lot of noise on low but on high it's a low sound that's not bothersome.
You can actually feel a cool breeze of air come out of this small cube and it reaches a couple feet away. It probably won't cool a small room or a small car inside but it will help to cool you down in the heat.

We built our kids a play house and needed something to keep it cool with the spring/summer heat upon us. It's only 10x10 so we needed something that wouldn't take up a lot of space, but could do the job of a "real" air unit. It sits on a small shelf where the kids can't access it. We turn it on and within 30 minutes it's nice and cool. It's easy to use and can be moved if needed. Just add the water and turn on the unit.

In real world this is a great personal cooler, don't expect to cool down the entire room lol! Great for pointing to direction of your bed :) and ofcourse while playing games on your desktop too :) overall this little thing is great works as a charm, I hope they make it rotate from left to right like a stand fan it would be nice feature too in the future.

THIS IS NOT AN AIR CONDITIONER! So many people are mad because its not cooling down their space like an a/c would. It is an evaporative cooler. The way it works is the same way sweat works when you sweat. A minimal amount of water is formed into a mist, which a fan blows across wet filter elements, and in turn gives a nice chilly breeze when its blowing on you. It wont work in your car, get your a/c fixed. It wont cool down a room of any size, get a a/c unit. What it will do it make a hot room feel more comfortable when your in it by giving you a cool breeze. I use it for my bedroom, blowing directly onto me, to keep me comfortable while sleeping. The a/c in the house doesnt make the upstairs cool, so this is the next option....the final option would be to get a a/c unit in my room. Works exactly the way its intended to.

I was skeptical as to whether this would work but I was amazed. I checked the temperature before and after with a little thermometer --- the temperature around me went from 76 degrees to 68 degrees within several minutes! fill up the water tank with ice chips and turn it on high, you will feel a temperature drop similar to the nice, cold breeze that you feel right before a thunderstorm. Our air conditioner is old and some rooms in the house are warm, so I keep this on a table right next to the sofa when I'm watching TV. It's awesome. This is also a nice solution for couples where one partner likes the room warm and one likes the room cool. My wife does not like the a/c set to freezing so this keeps us both comfortable.

I like this item because it's an instant cool me down! Very easy to use. I place it 5 ft, away from me and I'm so comfortable. I would have preferred if the device worked on rechargeable batteries since it makes me a little skeptical to keep the cooler connected to a power outlet as long as you use it. But since it is said it's very safe and I have read many reviews no negative reviews related to this so i can rest my mind.

I think for its size, it does the job. The room has to be small enough for it to actually cook it down. I don’t expect much out of something so small so I didn’t get let down. I Left it on for an hour in my room and made it from 99 degrees in my room to about 95 degrees. Still hot in here but not as hot as it was before. I also put ice water in the tank, makes all the difference! Also the USB port is hiding in the back, it doesn’t come with a male outlet plug but I’m sure those are easy to get.

I was so excited to get today my portable Arctic air cooler, as I currently another kind use. The other air cooler, I use, has a very small space for refilling of water and remains not turned over a short time. Therefore must I frequently more water refilling. If it overheats, it automatically turns off. So I must closely monitor, as it continues.
